The Silica jewelry store on South Main in Sayville is closing in the immediate future, maybe even this week, and a good portion of inventory is now at 50% off. There are no plans to reopen in another location.

Right nearby, The Goddess Shop is also in the homestretch of operation as the owner plans to close the doors by August. Keep tuned to Patch for a story later this week.

While Patch hasn’t been able to check it out just yet, there’s a new game card store open in Bayport, on Montauk Highway, just east of the new People’s Bank.

The following week the Pilot Club of Sayville will host a culinary fundraiser, called Savor Sayville, on April 26 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the VFW hall on Lakeland Avenue in Sayville.
