Sayville Old Navy Hosting Alex's Lemonade Stand This Weekend

All proceeds go to foundation and no store purchase is needed.

The Old Navy store in the Sayville Plaza on Sunrise Highway is hosting a fundraising effort this weekend to benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand, a foundation that fights childhood cancers.

The lemonade stand will be open inside the store on Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The foundation was started by Alexandra 'Alex" Scott, who was diagnosed with cancer at the age of four. She wanted to hold a lemonade stand sale to raise money to help other children with cancer. The goal is to raise money and awareness of childhood cancers, and to encourage and empower others, especially children to get involved.
