Sayville Jeweler Wants Your Vote for Children's Charity

Kay Cameron aims to get Matthew's Giving Tree a $10K grant.

Kay Cameron Jewelers of Sayville  has nominated Matthew’s Giving Tree Foundation for the Jewelers for Children Local Grant Program and is hoping local residents will support the effort by casting needed votes.

The JFC organization, founded by the jewelry industry in 1999, is dedicated to helping children in need. The recently launched Local Grant Program has set aside $100,000 to fund ten $10,000 grants for local children’s charities around the country.

Jewelers were asked to nominate their favorite non-profit. Public voting on the Jewelers for Children Facebook page will determine the top 10 vote-getters to receive the grants.

“We were pleased to hear about the program,” says Kay of Kay Cameron Jewelers.

“It was such an easy way to help support the excellent work Matthew’s Giving Tree does locally to improve the quality of life for the less fortunate youth of our community. Now, we’re trying to get the word out to the public to vote so Matthew’s Giving Tree receives one of these generous grants.”

Voting is simple. Individuals wishing to participate can go the Jewelers for Children Facebook page anytime between October 15 and October 30 and click on Matthew’s Giving Tree Foundation from among the nominees.

“Pulling together, we can help provide some much needed funding for Matthew’s Giving Tree,” Cameron says. “One minute of your time, one vote, $10,000. What could be easier!”

Kay Cameron Jewelers is located at 48 Main Street, Sayville. For more information about their products or services call (631)567-1698 or visit them online.
