Sayville Fashion Shop Embarks on New Clothing Line

Oooh La La launching private label for summer season.

Sayville's Ooh la la Boutique will boast a new exclusive private label this summer season featuring ready-to-wear apparel for fashionistas on a budget.

The store, one of four on Long Island, will debut the new line on April 5.

The summer line consists of “fashion-forward ‘girly’ pieces in a mix of classic looks following trends,” owner Jenny Montiglio said.

More than 50 new products are included in the collection that contains dresses, skirts, shorts, pants, shirts and sweaters at reasonable prices that on average range between $30 and $40 with the highest priced item – a stylish maxi dress – still less than $100, according to a press release.

After seven years in the women’s apparel retail business, Montiglio is excited to launch the line and said, “To be part of the design to manufacturing process allows us to keep focus on quality and conscious on price, which is our biggest concern with sourcing for our customers.”

Chic shapes and high-voltage shades of the “Candy Girl” look give a dose of spring time sweetness with samples that include a light hued striped cardigan with mint trim, high-waisted maxi halter dress in a pastel blue jay egg tint and neon green, and azure blue mid-thigh length wrap-around dress.

The collection of “Black & White” combines prints and solids of these hues for an edgy yet elegant appearance with items such as a herringbone-like long black tank dress, striped shorts and shirts and an embroidered sleeveless black button-down.

Neutral colors with vivid accents give “Scent of a Woman” pieces a polished feminine air that includes mid-thigh flowing sleeveless dresses belted in pinkish nude and chic cut-out screens in navy, as well as a sheer white top and pale pink skinny jeans.

“Dream Weaver” is inspired by tribal concepts matching delicate silhouettes with bold turquoise colors and ethnic patterns. “Double Mint” brings the color of the season to the forefront in all types of clothing from a lace dress, thin long-sleeved sweater, see-through top and sleeveless light denim button-down.

Fierce and flirty, “Gotham Glam” brings camouflage into a sheer loose-fitting button-down top, double breast pockets into a short navy dress, and raw edge rips into cut-off dark denim jean shorts and cotton tops. “Heavy Petal” brings the bold pattern of romantic florals with a chic vibe in a peplum skirt, crop pants, tank top and summer weather shirts.
