Chamber members take part in a photo/video shoot Thursday morning.

The skies may have been clear Thursday morning, but that didn't stop the from singin' in the rain.

Chamber members gathered in front of the chamber's Montauk Highway headquarters for a photo and video shoot to promote its new courtesy umbrella campaign.

"We wanted to do something a little different to make us stand out from the box stores," said Barbara Whitbread, the chamber's marketing committee chairperson.

The courtesy umbrellas will be available at Sayville businesses following the chamber's next meeting on April 10. Each umbrella will have a label on it and shoppers who pick one up can then drop it off at any other business participating in the program, Whitbread said.

Jake Nowicki, of Bayport, who has worked at Pam Raymond's , provided the dance moves at the shoot Thursday. The 18-year-old is a professional dancer at First State Ballet Theatre in Delaware.
