Living on an Island, it’s hard not to find fresh seafood. But what local spot has you hooked?

It’s one of the joys of living on Long Island, the abundance of fresh seafood and the sheer number of places where the local oysters are shucked and slurped by the dozen, where bright red lobsters drip with drawn butter and fillets of fish from fluke to tuna come baked, broiled or fried.

So this week let’s find out what local seafood restaurant has you hook, line and sinker.

Readers’ Choice is a new weekly feature where we ask you – our readers – to tell us your top picks on the businesses and local attractions that get your loyalty.

Each Monday we’ll list our nominees recommendations. Did we leave your go-to spot off the list? Go ahead and add it in comments.

Hands down, The Cull House. Not only the freshest fish, but the most creative chef to boot! Friendly atmosphere and great service.

Cull House has it all, great food, friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere, nice bar crowd, superb location, and fancy silverware.

The last time I ate at Cull House 2 years ago, I cut through my paper plate, making a mess. I see Kingston's and JT''s are the same nonsense, yet they have to keep prices up there as they're only open part of the year. If Cull House is using real silverware, I'll check them out again.

Unfortunately there are water/sewage concerns for restaurants located by the water in out of the way places, it's the price you pay for natural beauty.

The Cull House by far is THE BEST, The food is great ,The Staff wonderful , John Casey The owner Fabulous!!! The Chef creative and wonderful, but the best part of our weekly trips there are the Bartenders!, Darlene and Mike make everyone feel welcome ,always have a warm friendly smile on their face and make our trip there fun.
