Police: Attias Flea Market Jeweler Had No License

A gem exchange owner is facing charges for operating without required paperwork.

A jewelry vendor based in the Attias Flea Market in Sayville is facing charges for operating a metal and gem exchange without a license, according to police.

Rodshel Pinkhasov, of Hollis, Queens, was arrested on January 10 at Rocco’s Jewelry located at 5750 Sunrise Highway in Sayville.

Pinkhasov, 33, is due in First District Court on March 14.

Mid last year Target announced it aims to purchase the flea market building  to establish a store within this year.
