Old Navy Hosts Fundraising Drive for Alex's Lemonade Charity

Sayville Plaza retailer event is Saturday and Sunday and no purchase is necessary.

The Old Navy store in the Sayville Plaza on Sunrise Highway will host a fundraising effort this weekend to benefit Alex's  Lemonade Stand, a foundation that fights childhood cancers.

The foundation was started by Alexandra 'Alex" Scott, who was diagnosed with cancer at the age of four. She wanted to hold a lemonade stand sale to raise money to help other children with cancer. The goal is to raise money and awareness of childhood cancers, and to encourage and empower others, especially children to get involved.

Old Navy will be hosting its own lemonade stand this weekend to support the very worthy cause. A 100 percent of all proceeds collected will go directly to the foundation, and there is no store purchase neccessary.
