New Sayville Restaurant Undergoing Major Design in and Out

Eatery offering American fare is expected to open in a month.

Contrary to initial reports the impending Parlor House Grill restaurant in Sayville will feature American cuisine, not Greek fare, and is slated to open by mid August.

According to the new owner, the restaurant’s menu will be very moderately priced, with entrees between $11 and $20, and the building will feature a brand new exterior and interior design.

Already the bar, which was located on the east side of the first room area, has been relocated to the south back wall and is nearly twice as long. The bar will have a full menu of appetizers and very moderate price drinks as well.

The main dining room is getting new floors and paint but the fireplace will remain intact.

The new owner was a chef at the South Shore restaurant in Medford for over 20 years and said his eatery will be a family affair with his two sons helping run the restaurant and kitchen, which is also getting a major overhaul.
