New Blue Point Store Offers Something for Everyone's Needs

KatAbby sells wide range of items and is all about bringing the small business back into style.

Opened now for just a month, "KatAbby" is already causing a stir in the community and doing great! Its motto of, "bringing the small business back" is doing that by giving its customers the feel of doing business with a quaint shop and not just another big corporate name.

It's a place where you can shop, and make acquaintances with friendly owner, Jody Falzone at the same time. The store offers gift wrapping free of charge, good prices on wonderful items, and its close to home!

KatAbby came as a love for gift shops from  Falzone. Working for years at a local hospital, she decided that it was about time to change her life and do what she really loved. She knew that she wanted to set up shop close to home in the community she loves. So when the opportunity came to rent a small store in Blue Point, in the same set of stores that her mother managed a card store in over 20 years ago, she knew she found the right place.

From when you walk in through the turquoise and brown colored door, and see the selection of items you get the sense that you stepped into a modern "old fashioned country" store. The items offer a "country chic" feel to them with a few modern twists around each corner. Did this author also say about the wonderful aroma that you smell when you enter this store? It's one of those smells that your brain associates a "homelike" feel with, similar to the smell of a baked apple pie. The selection of soy candles, potpourri and the skincare collection fills the entire store with this nice scent.
