Yes, maybe you’d save a few cents hitting some big box store, but shopping local is also  a special gift to give the community you live in.

If Mom’s been talking about sprucing up the inside with some new furniture, stop in at Marc Williams on Main Street in Sayville between now and Monday and if you buy  a sofa you will receive a $100  Sayville Chamber gift certificate.  Another great way to give Mom what she wants and do the right thing by shopping local.

Saturday, May 12 is the 10th annual Kristen’s Walk to the Water which raises money for leukemia reesarch and grants wishes to sick chidren. The walk starts at 9:30 at the Common Ground and registration starts at 8:30 a.m.
