Take a new approach to getting fit at these three locations, all within a Bayport mile.

Bayport may be a small hamlet, but it has  a lot to offer those who are looking for variety in their workouts. There are numerous fitness establishments in the area, some of which we chose to highlight.  Take for instance these three fitness locations, all focusing on less traditional approaches to staying healthy, and all within a mile stretch on Montauk Highway.

No need to worry about summer ending; you can always visit Bikram Hot Yoga and relive those incredibly hot days. Focusing on the bikram style of yoga, this studio offers 90 minute classes, highlighting 26 positions in a 105 degree room.  With packages available ranging from a single class at $12 to 6 Months at $475, and classes scheduled 7 days a week, Bikram Hot Yoga welcomes students of all skill level. A new addition to the Bayport area, Champions offers a belted program with classes for children ages 4+ and adults of all ages and abilities, focusing on Tae Kwan Do, Muay Thai and Kickboxing.  With an Introductory Special currently being offered, get 3 classes and a pair of boxing gloves for $19.99, and a month of unlimited classes for $99.

Another great way to kick your own butt back into shape, Shaolin Self Defense Center focuses on the arts of Kempo, Kung Fu and Ju-Jitsu as well as offers classes in both cardio and ring-fighting kickboxing.  A typical program meets twice a week and runs at $87/month.  Children ages 4+ and adults of all ages and skill level are welcome.
