New ownership and management has taken over the West Sayville seafood market and the specialty of the house is crabs. The Claws Crab Shack and Crab Market has a streamlined menu offering something for every seafood fan as well great outdoor seating and music on weekends. The crab specials on weekends are proving to be in big demand and the market offers all natural and organic options including organic salmon. Dinners range from $13 to $25 with lunch options starting at $8. There are even burgers and chicken strips for the landlubbers in the dining group. The market also offers catering for summer parties and BBQs. It's open seven days a week. Owners Frank Palermo and Chris Meyer told Patch they are excited to be part of Sayville and love the community. The shack offers a raffle drawing every week.
