Over at Restaurant Blue, the chef created a menu that features classic staples with a twist. The dining experience at Blue is set in a casual, relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant's typical menu is what it calls "New American" with an emphasis on fresh foods of the season prepared with a unique and creative twist.

The Restaurant Week menu is no exception to its New American offerings. To start off the meal, appetizers include a tofu mu shu wrap, wasabi shrimp roll, grilled pear flat bread or blue salad, which features mixed greens, candied pecans, gorgonzola cheese and dried cranberries in a honey red wine vinaigrette.

Entrees choices feature a flat iron kobe steak in a truffle mushroom essence with roasted fingerling potatoes; poached monkfish in a roasted corn caper broth; buttermilk chicken with sautéed spinach and roasted fingerling potatoes; or rigatoni ala blue with grilled chicken, artichoke hearts and sundried tomatoes in a garlic cream sauce.

Dessert options include a marble cheesecake with a raspberry sauce or a chocolate and peanut butter swirled brownie with vanilla ice cream. For more information or to make a reservation, call 363-6666 or visit www.restaurantblue.com.
