Fusion 84 Closing Spurs Ideas for Future Business

Residents offer up potential options for Sayville restaurant location.

The quiet closure of Fusion 84, on Main Street in Sayville, has residents expressing ideas for new types of restaurant options, ranging from a franchise operation to a rumour that an Irish pub is already in process to move into the location.

As Patch reported a few days ago, the site has changed hands every six months to a year for the past several years and might be in need of a karma refresh, as Christine Riffone Pensabene wrote on Patch's Facebook page:

"yes yes YES! this PLACE NEEDS A FENG SHUI EXPERT! I've been saying this for years!!!!!!," she noted.

Several readers commented that the constant turnover in ownership is due more to a rash of restaurant operators who weren't quite passionate about providing compelling menus and food quality.

"It's all about the love you put into your food & location. If you are truly passionate about your craft the people will come no matter where you are located," wrote Christopher Kelly.
