Flu Shots Available at Stop & Shop Supermarkets

Loyalty customers get a discount.

For those who remember, getting a flu shot last season got a bit tricky when a local pharmacy ran short and left residents needing a flu shot scrambling to nearby towns.

This year residents between Blue Point and West Sayville have a new option for getting the shot. Local Stop & Shop stores are now offering flu vaccinations at all of their in-store pharmacies. No appointment is needed and vaccinations are provided any time the pharmacy is open.

The cost for the flu shot is $35 in New York and  most major insurance plans along with Medicare are accepted. Customers with a Stop & Shop prescription savings card will receive $10 off the regular price of a flu shot.
