Sayville Rotary will hold its annual BEEFSTEAK event, a fundraiser for charity, on Thursday, August 9, 2011.
As in previous years, the popular barbeque will be held on the beautiful, bayside grounds of the Long Island Maritime Museum in West Sayville. Clams on the half shell, sliced filet mignon with secret sauce, sliced tomatoes, corn on the cob and beer will once again be on the menu. The bayside outdoor event will start with cold beers and clams on the half shell at 5pm. The famous beefsteak will be served at 6:30pm. Tickets are $60 in advance and $65 at the gate. Again, as always, all proceeds benefit our goodwill projects in our community and around the world. Tickets may be purchased in Sayville on weekdays from Pam Werner at the Suffolk County National Bank, 161 N. Main Steet or at the VanKemenade Paint Store office at 150 N. Main Street or from any Sayville Rotarian.
