Buyers Treasures Up For Sale

Owners are selling contents of location in West Sayville and Middle Island.

, the relatively new thrift shop in West Sayville, is closing its doors. The shop was housed in the former digs of Sayville Running Company and has been open since February 1. Health issues are forcing the closure.

The owners of the shop also have another thrift shop located in Middle Island and the contents of both stores are up for sale. Both of the locations will be closing as soon as a buyer is found. “We are looking for a buyer for all of our merchandise in both stores,” said Charlie, one of the owners. “We are selling all the merchandise as well as our E-bay and Amazon businesses.”

“There is a tremendous amount of potential in the location,” Charlie added. “But health concerns have made opening the store during business hours an issue. That doesn’t make for good business sense. But the West Sayville is in a great location with plenty of traffic. It would be a great place for someone who has the time to put into it.”

The owners did not have a lease in either location. “We have already spoke to the landlords and they are willing to negotiate with whoever is looking to rent the space,” Charlie said.

The merchandise is for sale for $12,999 with $10,000 down. If a buyer is interested in both locations, the owners will consider a discounted price. For more information call Charlie at the Middle Island store at 775-7857.
