How did your business come to be?

For two years I worked for a spa in Sayville. There came a point where they could no longer operate and needed to close their doors. I had a choice, to either look for another job or start something new myself. I had worked very hard to build my clientele, and I did not want to risk losing them. At that point I decided to open Earthtone Therapies.

Why did you choose the Sayville area?

I chose to stay here in Sayville since I was already known to many people in the area. It is really a great town! For me, it is close to home, and I enjoy the friendliness of the people and the wonderful sense of community. It is nice to be able to walk to get lunch or a cup of coffee, see what's going on around me, and talk to my neighbors!

What do you offer customers?

Here at Earthtone Therapies, our New York State Licensed Therapists offer a variety of treatments such as Massage Therapy, Organic Skin Care and Waxing.

What do you want your business to be best known for?

At Earthtone Therapies, we really love what we do and it is proven through our treatments. We offer a calm setting so from the moment you walk through our doors you begin to feel relaxed!

What's your most popular product or service?

The One-Hour Swedish Massage is our most popular treatment. Having multiple benefits, massage therapy helps to reduce stress, decrease blood pressure and alleviate pain and muscle tension. Our clients commonly seek treatment for headaches, neck pain, shoulder pain, low back pain; often using massage in conjunction with physical therapy, chiropractic care or acupuncture. Some people have also found it effective in helping heal trauma caused by a sports injury or car accident. Our main goal is to give a great massage that is not only relaxing but also has long lasting effects.

Many people also enjoy our 60-Minute Customized Organic Facial. An Esthetician, or skin care specialist, discusses with each client their areas of concern. After careful skin analysis, the Esthetician chooses products geared specifically for their skin type and concerns. Our facials treat many skin conditions such as acne, excessive dryness, fine line and wrinkles, rosacea, or effects of sun damage. The 60-Minute Customized Facial includes cleansing, toning, exfoliation, mask, extractions (when necessary), and an intense hydration. While the mask sets, a massage is given to the neck, shoulders, decollete (upper chest area), arms, hands and feet.  All of our facials are designed to help you relax and will leave your face feeling clean and refreshed.
