The big news this week is that the Greater Sayville Chamber of Commerce has rescheduled the incredibly popular Evening in Margaritaville event, which got rained out in August.
The Ed Travers Band will be playing Friday, Sept. 28 from 7pm to 10 p m and the new feature of this year’s event is a grill that will be offering hamburgers, hot dogs, fries and beverages run by the On Site Support, which supports local military troops.
Mini Monet is now taking registration for fall classes which include interesting options such as a fashion and fabric class for ages 6 to 18 and graphic/street art for ages 10 years and older. Check out the art studio’s website .
One of the most popular sandwiches at the Sayville Sandwich Shop these days is the “50 Shades Sub,” named aptly after the best-selling “50 Shades of Grey” and the ensuing series of erotic fiction.
The sub features Chipotle chicken breast, avocado, bacon, cheddar and salsa on a sub hero.
