Blue Point Bar Not Becoming a Female Dance Club

A online classified states a local nightclub is recruiting for a new dance show aspect.

The owner of SHO, the night club/bar in the King Kullen shopping center on Montauk Highway in Blue Point, isn't hiring young females to dance, according to the owner who claims to know nothing about an ad soliciting adult entertainment talent for the club.

The advertisement, placed Monday on backpage.com, in the Long Island escorts section, states the following:

Now hiring for Bikini Bar in Blue Point ..all positions available..female dancers wanted for all shifts..

But the owner told Patch he did not place the ad and didn't know anything about it.

"It must be something an angry bartender did.. it happens after you fire someone," said the owner, who confirmed his first name was Frank, which was posted in the ad as well.

"The ad is false. I run a regular bar and nightclub," he told Patch.
