If you haven't discovered the perfect gift yet Patch wants to make sure you do and will be spotlighting ideas at local businesses every day until Dec. 25 between Blue Point and West Sayville.
Today Patch spotlights Bayport Flower House, on Montauk Highway at the intersection of Sylvan Avenue, which offers way beyond just flowers with unique gift ideas for everyone from your hair stylist to the neighbor that helped clear fallen trees during the infamous Sandy storm.
There is literally ornament choices for everyone's passion, from pets to traditional holiday cardinal options to polar bear figuerines. For the bird lover in the family there are lots of bird houses and even holiday themed bird seed gifts for your feathered friends.
And this month the Flower House is offering two great programs for kids. One is a workshop to make a holiday centerpiece (Dec. 8) and the other is a snow fairy creation (Dec. 15). The cost is $15 and the programs start at 3:30 p.m. on each date.
