No one was hurt in the car crash late Wednedsay morning when a driver rammed into the east side of the A&D Locksmith as pulled into a parking spot at Houdek's Liquor store.
The crash caused the building's chimney to come down and building damage. The driver related a possible brake issue may have been at fault.
The Bayport Fire Department was on the scene within minutes, as were Suffolk Police and police emergency response.
Traffic was diverted from Bayport Avenue for northbound drivers for about a half hour and then reopened to traffic.
