A New Year Begins in Bayport-Blue Point Schools
Making new friends, meeting up with old ones was a big part of the first school day.
Bayport-Blue Point School District students were welcomed back to school by faculty and staff this Monday, when school doors opened to mark the beginning of the 2013-14 school year.

For some students, this was their first experience in primary school, while for others it was their last in secondary school.
The kindergartners, saying goodbye to their parents for the first time, were slightly apprehensive about what they were to experience, while the high school seniors were excited to be back in school and reunited with old friends in familiar settings.
The year ahead is sure to be filled with many new and exciting experiences for all students throughout the district.
