Exhibit on display at Artspace through July 31.

A new photography exhibit, "Lights On...Music Around Here" and book project is happening at Artspace Patchogue, 20 Terry St. in Patchogue.

According to a flyer for the exhibit, the music scene of Patchogue Village will be on display in photos at the exhibit, and a book project of the same name by Artspace resident Crios.

The book will feature around 40 bands who have made Patchogue Village part of their music domain, says the flyer.

Jocelyn Kuan, who is also working on the project, said in an email to Patch that they are planning to have benefit concerts at different bars and venues in Patchogue to get the funds needed to print 500 copies of this book to be distributed on Long Island and New York City.

Crios's modern pieces of art in the form of photographs will be open in Artspace Patchogue's lobby gallery through July 31.

Those with inquiries about the project or interested in supporting it can email info@lightsonmusicaroundhere.org.
