Free Concert at Common Ground Features Eagles Tribute Band
Sayville concert series event starts at 7 p.m. on June 29.
Suffolk County Legislature Presiding Officer William J. Lindsay is hosting the kickoff performance of his 2013 Free Concert Series at The Common Ground in Sayville on Saturday, June 29, at 7pm. Desert Highway Band, an Eagles tribute group, will be performing many familiar tunes.
“This event, and the entire summer concert series, would not be possible without the tireless efforts of my friends at the Common Ground,” said Presiding Officer Lindsay. “Every year, it has been a pleasure for us to bring wonderful free shows to the Sayville community. I hope to see you there with your blankets and your picnic baskets!”
Lindsay will also be sponsoring a concert at 7pm on Wednesday, July 17, at the Holbrook Country Club, 700 Patchogue-Holbrook Road in Holbrook. Big Shot, known as the hottest Billy Joel tribute groups, will be performing.
