SAYVILLE HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE ARTS PROGRAM 2010-2011 The 2010-2011 school year promises to be another outstanding year for theatre at Sayville High School. The Sayville Players drama club (International Thespian Society troupe #6416) will present two full-length plays before the holidays. The evenings of November 3 through 6 Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee's classic drama Inherit the Wind will be presented in SHS's "Backstage Theatre". Following that, Neil Simon's award-winning comedy Barefoot in the Park will be presented the evenings of December 1 through 4 with a Sunday matinée performance on December 5 in the high school's Little Theatre. Then in the spring of 2011, the theatre program and the music department will combine forces to produce the "new" Gershwin musical Crazy for You the evenings of March 23 through 26 in the auditorium. Finally, the Sayville Players will close out the season with their 33rd Annual Senior Directed One Act Play Festival the evenings of May 20 and 21 in the Little Theatre.
