Celebrate National Italian- American Heritage Month Italian Film Program: Bread & Tulips

Kick off Italian Heritage Month (October) with a discussion of this wonderful Italian film with Irene Porco Eckert! It tells the story of a married housewife who is accidentally left behind while on vacation with her family. She becomes charmed by the city and her new found freedom and decides to stay. Her solo journey does not sit well with her tyrannical husband, however, who hires an amateur detective to bring her back home.
