Bud Abbott: The Forgotten Funny Man

In their quarter century together, the comedy team of Bud Abbott and Lou Costello conquered the stage, radio, movies, and TV. After the untimely death of his comedy partner, Bud Abbott retired to his home in Woodland Hills, California. In 1972, Sal St. George had the good fortune to meet Bud and Betty, his wife of 55 years, in their home. During their conversation, Bud fondly reminisced about his life as a member of one of America’s most beloved comedy teams. Mr. St. George recently rediscovered the long-lost audio tape of that encounter. Now for the first time in 40 years, Bud Abbott's last interview is a live event for Abbott and Costello fans to enjoy.
