20th Annual Seafood Festival

Started in 1991, the Long Island Maritime Museum's Seafood Festival is held  annually, the last weekend of August, and attracts thousands of visitors from throughout the tri-state area who come to enjoy the sights, sounds, tastes and history of Long Island's great south shore. Suitable for the entire family, The Seafood Festival, located on the historic waterfront property of the museum, has grown from a local celebration to one of Long Island's premier summer events. Visitors flock to experience the unsurpassed seafood offerings as well as the many activities offered throughout the weekend. These include live performances on our main stage by several notable acts, children's rides and activities, live pirate shows, public sails aboard our historic Oyster Sloop Priscilla, "Going Green" environmental exhibits and over 50 of the top arts and crafts vendors from around the country. We suggest that you arrive early, stay late - and be prepared to have a spectacular day!
