World Peace Day in Sayville Draws Young & Old in Celebration

If you got a shot of the peace event share it on Patch's Snapshot open blog.

The Common Ground in Sayville was a busy spot this past Saturday as residents from babies to grandparents gathered to celebrate World Peace Day.

The event, which featured live music and activities for the young set, also collected food for local pantries and provided information on groups and organizations focused on attaining world peace.

As the photo gallery illustrates, the weather cooperated fully.
