The Common Ground in Sayville was a busy spot this past Saturday as residents from babies to grandparents gathered to celebrate World Peace Day.
The event, which featured live music and activities for the young set, also collected food for local pantries and provided information on groups and organizations focused on attaining world peace.
As the photo gallery illustrates, the weather cooperated fully.
Got a shot you took while attending the event? You can share it on Patch in our new open blog, Snapshots, which Patchhopes to be a place where you can share great images with the people who will appreciate them best, the locals in the community who call the scenery of Sayville-Bayport home.
