You can brag, West Sayville to Blue Point is a pretty scenic area.

With places like Foster Avenue docks and the scenic areas along Middle Road to Blue Point's Cove, it’s no wonder shutterbugs from serious photographers to enthusiasts with little more than smartphones find a lot of inspiration in town.

Our new open blog, Snapshots, hopes to be a place where you can share these great images with the people who will appreciate them best, the locals in the community who call the scenery of Sayville-Bayport home.

And it’s easy to share.

Visit the Snapshots blog here and click on the open text box under the heading to create a post and upload a photo.

Or, from the homepage, follow these steps:

  • Sign in to your Patch. (Click “Join” if you don’t have an account yet.)

  • Click the "Blogs" tab, near the top of the homepage and then locate the Snapshots – Sayville-Bayport blog in the left-hand column. Click on it.

  • Click in the box that says, “Write a new post” and then click on “Article” at the top.

  • Give your post a headline, enter the body of the story and upload your photos.

  • Click “Post now.”

Enjoy the scenery.
