This weekly feature serves as a guide to local weekend activities.
This weekend is full of important sporting events from swimming, track and wrestling meets to Bayport- Blue Point Little League registration. Weekends are also home to a variety of live music performances and fun at local bars. Take a look at this weekend's happenings:

- New Jersey rock band Zero Zero performs live at on Friday at 6 p.m.
- Grab a few drinks and watch the Jets playoff game against the Colts on Saturday at starting at 8 p.m.
- Want to dance? Hustle your way over to Blue on Friday night for its Friday Night Fever dance party. Dance the night away to live music by DJ Loki and live bands until 1 a.m. Saturday night is ladies night at Blue. Ladies drink free from 9 p.m. - 10 p.m. with no cover all night.
