VIDEO: Foster Ave Beach Gets a Whooping Courtesy of Irene
Dozens of residents streamed down Foster Avenue to see the incredible water action happening early Sunday afternoon at Sayville Beach.
It was mesmorizing to watch the usual calm Great South Bay pound its way over Sayville Beach docks, the parking lot and breach up the road. People who waded into the lake between the beach near Land's End found themselves hip deep in water.
