Snow, Again -- Add Your Own Photos

Bayport-Blue Point is now covered by a blanket of snow, and the area may get hit with even more of the white stuff this weekend. Add your snow pictures to our gallery.

Bayport-Blue Point has certainly been seeing white the last 24-hours, , with drifts of well over 12 inches; predictions for the weekend show that the area may be hit with precipitation- again.

National Weather Service (NWS) forecast Thursday afternoon to be mostly sunny, with a high near 34 and winds between 14 and 16 mph. Tonight is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 20 and winds between 6 and 10 mph. 

Those wishing for a break from the snow after Wednesday and Thursday may not get one, according to predictions for Friday. A 40 percent chance of snow showers after 11 a.m. is forecast, and the weather is predicted to be cloudy, with a high near 34. Friday night, the area may receive more snow before 10 p.m. Saturday, be on alert for even more precipitation, mainly after noon. B-BP may also see snow showers before midnight on Saturday. As of now, it appears that Sunday will be mostly sunny, with no snowfall expected.
