Sayville UCC Holding Auditions for Upcoming Concert
Children are invited to audition for a backup group for Jennifer Knapp and Margaret Becker.
On December 13 the Sayville Congregational United Church of Christ will host a concert by Jennifer Knapp and Margaret Becker in support of their “Hymns of Christmas” album.
The two singers invited the church to put together a small group to sing back-up on two songs, “O Happy Day” and “Go Tell It On the Mountain.”
Auditions for children interested in participating will take place on November 26 and 28 from 3.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. in the church sanctuary at 131 Middle Road.
Rehearsals will take place in early December. The church welcomes non-members, members of other churches and members of its own congregation to join us for this extraordinary opportunity.
Knapp's is a contemporary Christian musician whose recent tour was called "Inside Out Faith," and the UCC was one of the churches that hosted the tour. Becker is Sayville.
