Sayville Resident Wins $10K NY Lottery Prize

Briana Ray bought the winning Mega Millions ticket at the Sayville 7-Eleven on Sunrise Highway.

Briana Ray, a Sayville resident, is $10,000 richer as she won the Mega Millions at the 7-Eleven on Sunrise Highway in Sayville on July 27.

The New York Lottery continues to be North America's largest and most profitable Lottery, contributing close to $2.9 billion in fiscal year 2011-2012 to help support education in New York State. The Lottery's aid represents nearly 15 percent of total state education funding to local school districts.

Patch will have more details and hopefully an interview with Ray later this week so stay tuned.

What would you do if you won $10,000? Comment below and share.
