Sayville Garden Club Luncheon is a Popular Success

This article and the photos were contributed by Carolyn Leyboldt. They were posted by Judy Mottl.

Once again, the Sayville Garden Club Annual Luncheon was a big success! Our speaker, Rick Mikula, the Butterfly Man, entertained us with facts and funnies about all kinds of butterflies and moths. By the end of his talk he had (almost) morphed into a butterfly himself!

After enjoying a delicious lunch presented by Land’s End, members were recognized for past deeds and winners collected a myriad of prizes. So even though May has left us a little damp and dreary, over 200 women had sunny smiles on their faces when the afternoon came to a close. Thanks again to Pat Zink, Kay Porter, Barbara Connell, President Pat Osarchuk and all the Garden Club members who helped to make this a very special event
