Sandy Cleanup Begins as Tree Removal, Debris Fleets Hit the Streets
Cleanup crews were seen in both Bayport and Sayville late Friday.
Foster Avenue in Sayville was shut off from direct access off Middle Road as crews worked on power lines and cleared trees blocking line work. Candee Avenue residents saw a fleet of four tree removal contractors arrive and a two-vehicle effort cleared debris from the curb along Suydam Avenue in Bayport.
