Sal's Pizza Celebrates Small Business Saturday With Fundraiser

The popular Sayville eatery aims to help out a great organization.

Sal's Pizzeria is hosting a day-long fund raising event on November 24, 2012 (which happens to be Amex' Small Business Saturday) to benefit the Victims Information Bureau of Suffolk (VIBS) that helps victims of domestic and sexual violence in Suffolk.

Where:
Sal’s Pizzeria and Catering, 183 Montauk Highway, Sayville NY 11782

When:
Saturday, November 24, 2012 beginning, at 11:00 a.m.

Sal’s Pizzeria Day of Giving will feature raffles, pizza giveaways, and appearances by representatives from VIBS and the street team from WBAB radio station. Requested donation items include: gift cards for grocery and convenience stores, non-perishable food, batteries, school supplies, paper tableware products, toiletries, new bed sheets and towels, cameras, new and used cell phones, flash lights, reusable shopping bags, and cleaning supplies.

“VIBS is a wonderful group who has done so much for families in Suffolk County since they began in 1976. Donations are needed more than ever because their supplies have been depleted entirely since the storm. We’re hoping for a great turnout by our friends, neighbors, and the surrounding communities of Sayville, Bayport, Oakdale, Holbrook and beyond” says Lori Giambanco, owner of Sal’s Pizzeria and Catering.
