Praying for a Win?
Sayville United Methodist Church sends a football-themed message to the community.
on Main Street often displays signs out front with witty phrases. With the New York Giants just one from the Super Bowl, a victory this Sunday over the San Francisco 49ers will give Big Blue a shot at their second Super Bowl title in the past five years.
The church was established in 1833 and moved to its current location in 1893. Despite the years, Sayville United Methodist Church contains many of the original features and structures. It has been part of Sayville's Main Street since the 1890s.
