UPDATE: Middle Road Pothole No Longer an Annoyance
Roadway pit presents a jarring experience for drivers going eastbound.
Sometime between late Thursday afternoon and early Friday morning a pothole fixer fixed the Middle Road nuisance.

You don't see it until your right front end drops, hits and makes one of those noises that only mechanics love.
The newest pothole in town is one to avoid if you don't want your car's front-end re-aligned in the near future.
It's located in the east-bound lane of Middle Road just in front of Bayport United Methodist Church and appears to be the result of drainage work done along the roadway in that stretch of pavement.
Patch intends to call around to see about getting it filled in but in the meantime wanted to warn local motorists.
