The Town of Islip Animal Shelter is home to many lovable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens that are desperately looking to join the right family. The shelter takes great pride in providing a clean and caring environment for all of their pets.
Meet Venus, a young female black lab mix. Shelter staff say Venus is playful and submissive, affectionate and loving. Venus, with her gorgeous silky black coat, will make a great addition to the family.
Padre is a super sweet adult male collie mix. He is a very friendly guy that thrives on human attention, according to shelter workers. He loves to be with people, he's just happy to hang out wherever you are. Padre is content sitting at your feet, out on a walk or just relaxing and watching TV (dogs do watch TV, right?). The shelter says he's an all around nice dog that will make you smile.
