Open Houses and Girls Track

A list of local events and what to look for on Patch Sunday afternoon.

1. Prince of Peace Regional Catholic School will kick off Catholic Schools Week 2011 with an Open House on Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. at the school building, located at 200 Main St. in Sayville, just east of St. Lawrence the Martyr Church.Parents and students interested in learning more about Nursery and Pre-K programs as well as Kindergarten through eighth grade classes will be able to take guided tours of the school to experience its culture and close-knit community firsthand. Teachers, the principal and parents of current students will also be available to answer questions. All are welcome to attend the Open House. Reservations are not needed and there is absolutely no obligation for attendees afterward.

3. Support the  girls varsity track team in their meet at Suffolk West Community College at 4:30 p.m. Address: Wicks Rd and Community College Drive, Brentwood.
