Oct. 5: Learn About Vintage Jewelry At Library Today

We've hit the mid-week mark. Here's what's happening on Wednesday, Oct. 5 in Bayport-Blue Point.

1. Love anything vintage? Kathleen Otranto returns to teach you even more invaluable tidbits about vintage costume jewelry during Vintage Costume Jewelry Part II at the library, 7 p.m. During this instructional class, you will learn where and how to buy vintage costume jewelry pieces, how to identify the maker, and proper maintenance techniques to insure the value of pieces.

2. Bayport-Blue Point Field Hockey takes on Babylon High School today, 4 p.m. on the opponent's field.

3. Girls Tennis takes on Ward Melville High School 4:15 p.m. at the B-BP courts.

4. It's the Phantoms against Mt. Sinai this afternoon at 4:30 p.m. Support the boys soccer team as they face off against Mt. Sinai High School for an away game.

5. It's Karaoke Night at Sage Cafe every Wednesday at 9 p.m. Show up to sing, drink and make fun of your friends as they perform your favorite karaoke classics.
