A Lindenhurst man was arrested on Thursday and charged with robbing the same West Babylon bank twice this month, police said. Christopher Legge, 39, robbed the Roslyn Savings Bank on West Montauk Highway on the mornings of and , according to police.

Sachem

On Tuesday, Sachem Youth Advisory Group (SYAG) baseball officials were downtrodden that someone would $10,000 worth of bleachers from their facility on Smith Road in Lake Ronkonkoma. One day later, things changed drastically for the better. Jason Merz, a landscape design company owner from East Islip, and Ray Navarette, a baseball player from the Long Island Ducks, said they will donate the funds to purchase new bleachers before the league’s opening day on April 14.

Half Hollow Hills

A Melville attorney is one of three-dozen people charged with scheming to defraud auto insurers out of more than $279 million in accident benefits, according to published reports. At a press conference Tuesday, federal and New York City investigators told reporters that the 35 defendants including lawyers, doctors and patients who took part in a “medical fraud mill” to fake injuries.
