MTV Turns 30

Patch asks, you answer.

Music lovers of all generations turned on their televisions to watch MTV debut on Aug. 1, 1981.

If you were lucky enough to witness the debut thirty years ago yesterday, then you may remember that the first video aired on the channel was "Video Killed the Radio Star" by the Buggles.

In honor of the thirtieth birthday of this groundbreaking channel, Patch wants to know: What is your all-time favorite video?

The second video aired was "You Better Run" by Pat Benatar, and the third, "She Won't Dance with Me" by Rod Stewart. Other Stewart videos aired at positions #15, #26, #37, #51, #66, and #77, making him the artist with the most videos played that day.
