Two free fitness clinics are coming up, courtesy of Walk to Run Fitness in Sayville.
The dates are Wedn., February 26 at 7 p.m. (fitness lecture being held at Sayville Running Company) and Sat., March 1 at 8:30 am at The Plex in Sayville (half hour workout included).
The free clinics will be one-hour long and will include instruction on how to start a fitness walking, or beginner running program. Information will include injury prevention, the importance of proper apparel and sneakers, hydration, goal setting techniques, stretching and instruction on warm up and cool down.
The class on March 1 will include a 30-minute workout. Appropriate workout apparel is required. Because space is limited, registration is required for this clinic.
