March 9: Health Benefits for Seniors, Baseball Tryouts, St. Pat's Information

This is a busy week in Bayport-Blue Point. Patch helps you plan out your agenda with our daily "5 Things" column. A library program, baseball tryouts and other local happenings are planned for Wednesday, March 9. 

1. Maximizing Health Benefits for Seniors at , 1 p.m. This seminar will give instructions about how to determine insurance benefits, organize insurer information, and how claims can be sorted as they are processed through Medicare or another primary insurer and then on to a secondary insurer if applicable. Marcia Salvesen has been a Patient Coordinator, and has a BA in health care management.

2. Double A and triple AAA baseball tryouts. All are welcome to please come down during try-outs next week at the to check out, and order new apparel on Wednesday, March 9 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

3. Brookhaven Zoning Board meeting, 2 p.m. The Zoning Board of the Town of Brookhaven will host their weekly meeting at Town Hall.

4. Karaoke Night happens every Wednesday at 9 p.m.  in Blue Point.
