March 18: Library Visitor, Clean-up, Beginner's Yoga

A list of events happening in and around Bayport-Blue Point and a preview of the weekend's Patch content.

Spring is almost in the air and the area's calendar is filled with lots of new and exciting activities to awaken the neighborhood from the long winter. Here's what's happening in Bayport-Blue Point.

1. Assemb. Al Graf to visit . Graf (R, C – Holbrook) will join library Director Mike Firestone for a tour of the library and to download an e-book onto his IPAD at 2:30 p.m.

2. Spring cleaning. On Saturday, Bayport-Blue Point Little League invites all parents, friends and residents to help clean-up the little league fields.

3. Yoga class. Also on Saturday, residents can enjoy a beginner's yoga class at the library in the third of six sessions taking place through March and April. Register early, limited openings. A $10 fee is due at in-person registration. 

4. Musical performance. At 1 p.m. on Sunday, head down to for some live music byDan Donnelly
